Augie Studio Dashboard

Main Actions

When you access the Augie Dashboard, you will see a greeting message at the top of the screen. This friendly message welcomes you to the platform and sets the stage for your video creation journey.

Below the greeting message, you will find three main action buttons that help you get started with your tasks: Create a new video, Upload to My Library, and Find clips in my media.

Create a New Video

The Create a New Video button at the top of the dashboard is the starting point to access all video creation options in Augie.

When you choose to create a new video, you’ll be presented with various options to start your project. You can pick a starting point based on the resources you have (e.g., script, audio, video) or even use AI-driven options to generate a video.

  • I have a script ready: Options to record your script or use AI to voice it (Premium).

  • I have audio: Use your own narration or add premium assets (Premium).

  • I have video: Add picture in picture, subtitles, and more.

  • I'm starting from scratch: Use AI tools like the scriptwriter (Premium) or the Augie Storyteller (Pay Per Use)

Find Clips in My Media

Upload media files from your device to your personal library on Augie. Keep all your assets organized and easily accessible for future projects. You can upload assets via URL or from your local device using the provided options.

Upload to My Library

These buttons are designed to streamline your workflow, making it simple to create, organize, and find content for your video projects.

My Projects Section

My Projects is a section on the Augie dashboard that lists your video projects. It helps you manage your videos by providing information and quick action options. The section includes columns for Name, Length, and Last Modified date.

Each project listed in the My Projects section has a row with several action icons. These icons allow you to perform quick tasks on your video projects.

For example, you might have a project titled Holiday_Video, with a length of 3 minutes and a Last Modified date of March 2, 2023. Using the action icons, you could download this project, make edits, duplicate it for creating a new version, or delete it if it's no longer needed.

The left sidebar on the Augie Dashboard provides several useful tools and information for managing your video projects.

  • Video Time Left Indicator: Shows the remaining video creation time available for the current session. This helps you keep track of your usage limits.

  • Go Premium Button: Allows you to upgrade to a premium plan for additional features and extended usage.

  • My Library Button: Takes you to your media library where you can manage your uploaded and generated content.

  • New Features Button: Provides information on the latest updates and new functionalities added to Augie.

  • Support Button: This is the button that leads to this help center 😊. Our in app support agent is trained on all of help center information. Please note, if you wish to reach out to support, provide feedback, or report a bug, ask our in app knowledge assistant "Ask Augie", our AI Head of Customer Success, and they will provide you the support button to do so.

  • Stats for Videos Created and Time Saved: Displays statistics on the number of videos you have created and the total time saved using Augie, helping you gauge your productivity.

  • Light Mode Toggle: Enables you to switch between light and dark themes for better visibility and comfort.

  • Social Media Icons: Quick links to Augie's social media pages, allowing you to stay connected and informed about updates.

Delete Project Confirmation

The delete confirmation dialog in Augie's dashboard appears when you attempt to delete a video project. This pop-up dialog asks, 'Are you sure you want to delete this project?'

Confirmation dialogs are significant as they help to prevent accidental deletions. They offer an extra step to ensure that you genuinely want to proceed with the deletion, which can prevent the loss of valuable work.

In the delete confirmation dialog, you are presented with two options: 'No, don't delete it' and 'Yes, I'm sure'. The first option cancels the deletion process, allowing you to keep your project. The second option confirms that you want to delete the project, permanently removing it from your dashboard.

This additional step is crucial in helping users avoid mistakes, ensuring that video projects are only deleted intentionally.
