In the Objects Tab, you will see a panel titled 'Drop in text or images.' Here, you will find the Add a Textbox button. Click this button to begin adding text to your video.

Once you click Add a Textbox, a text input field will appear in the video preview window on the right side of the screen. This is where you can enter the text you want to display in your video.

Type your desired text in the textbox. The changes will be reflected in the video preview window, allowing you to see how the text will look in your video.

Customizing Text Appearance

In the Textbox Design Interface, you can customize the appearance of text objects to fit your video's style and theme.

Start by entering your desired text in the text input field labeled "Insert Your Text." This is where the content of your text object will be displayed.

Next, select the font you want to use for your text. There are various font options available in the dropdown menu, such as Courier Prime, EB Garamond, Finger Paint, and many others.

You can also customize the weight and size of the font to ensure the text stands out or blends in as needed. Adjust the sliders for weight and size to achieve the desired look.

To make the text more visually appealing, you can select a background color for the textbox. Use the color picker to choose from a wide range of colors.

Enhance your text further by adding a border. You can customize the width and style of the border using the corresponding dropdown menus and sliders.

For a more refined look, you can add an outline to your text. Adjust the width and color of the outline to your preference using the provided settings.

Finally, add a drop shadow effect to give your text depth. Customize the distance, blur, and position of the drop shadow using the sliders and dropdowns available.

All these customization options allow you to create text objects that are visually engaging and well-suited to your video content.

Applying Text Animations

Applying animations to text objects can make your video more engaging and dynamic. Augie offers various animations that you can easily apply to your text.

To access the animation options, you need to use the Textbox Animation Interface. This interface is divided into two main sections: a panel for animation options on the left and a video preview window on the right displaying a video frame with a textbox overlay.

In the animation panel, you will find a grid of animation options. Some of the available animations include Bounce, Ring, Flash, Shimmer, Wave, CreditRoll, Bubbling, Breadth, and Grow. You can select any of these animations to apply them to your text object.

After choosing an animation, the video preview will show a sample of how the text will appear with the selected animation. This helps you visualize the effect in real-time, ensuring it matches the style and tone of your content.
