Image Adjustments

Fill and Fit Options

In the Adjust Image tab, you will find the Fill and Fit options located on the left panel. These options help you resize images within your video frame.

  • The Fill option expands the image to cover the entire video frame, which might crop parts of the image. This is useful when you want to remove any black borders or empty spaces.

  • The Fit option adjusts the image to fit entirely within the video frame without cropping. This may introduce borders if the image's aspect ratio does not match the video frame.

To use these options, select either Fill or Fit from the Adjust Image tab on the left panel. The selected option will automatically resize your image within the video frame.

Flip Options

The Flip Vertical and Flip Horizontal options in Augie's Adjust Image tab allow you to flip your images within the video frame. These options help you change the orientation of your image, providing more flexibility in how your final video looks.

To use the Flip Vertical option, go to the Adjust Image tab and select the Flip Vertical button. This will flip the image upside down, creating a vertical inverse of your original. This is useful for correcting orientation or achieving creative effects.

Similarly, you can use the Flip Horizontal option by selecting the Flip Horizontal button in the same Adjust Image tab. This action will mirror the image along the vertical axis, reversing the left and right sides of the image.

Both options are located in the panel on the left side of the Adjust Image tab. By selecting either of these buttons, you can easily adjust the orientation of your images to fit your needs.

Custom Zoom and Move

The Custom Zoom & Move option in the Adjust Image tab lets you zoom in and move images within the video frame. This feature can help you focus on specific parts of your image or create dynamic visual effects.

To use this option, select the Adjust Image tab from the panel on the left side of the screen. You'll see a checkbox for Custom Zoom & Move below the options for Fill, Fit, Flip Vertical, and Flip Horizontal. Check this box to enable custom zoom and move adjustments.

Once enabled, you can click and drag to move the image within the frame. Use the zoom controls to zoom in or out. This allows you to position your image exactly as you need for your video project.

Mirrored Effect

The Mirrored Effect option in the Adjust Image tab allows you to mirror your images within the video frame. This feature creates a reflection of the image, which can add a unique visual effect to your video.

To use the Mirrored Effect option, first navigate to the Adjust Image tab. Here, you will find a toggle switch for the Mirrored Effect. When enabled, the image will be mirrored horizontally within the video frame. This effect is beneficial for creating symmetrical visuals or achieving specific artistic effects.

Use the Mirrored Effect

Apply the Mirrored Effect for creative visual effects by toggling the switch located under the image adjustment options. This effect flips the image horizontally, creating a mirrored appearance.
