Two Options to Voice My Script with AI

To find an AI voice for your script, start by selecting Create a new video on the dashboard. Then click voice my script with AI.

Check 'Clone my voice' to create an AI voice

Premium users can create an AI voice based on your own voice. Select 'Clone my voice for future Augie's' in the Audio Recorder modal. This allows you to reuse your voice in future projects.

Here you will have two options

  1. Choose your Voice

  2. Audio Recorder

Choose your Voice will lead you to a variety of different voices you can select based on your preference. Audio Recorder will trigger an Audio Recorder modal where you can record you voice and select a checkbox to Clone my voice for future Augie's. Check this option if you want to create an AI voice based on your voice.

Check 'Clone my voice' to create an AI voice

To create an AI voice based on your own voice, make sure to select the 'Clone my voice for future Augie's' checkbox in the Audio Recorder modal. This allows you to reuse your voice in future projects.

Otherwise, this guide explains what occurs if you decide to instead select the Choose your Voice options.

Choosing Your AI Voice

  1. Open the Augie app and go to the 'Create with Script' section.

  2. Select Voice my script with AI

  3. Click on 'Choose your Voice'.

  4. Filter voices by your preferences (gender, age, accent, tone, use case).

  5. Choose a voice from the filtered list.

  6. Click 'Preview your Script' to listen to the selected voice.

  7. If satisfied, click 'Sounds Good!'.

  8. Save your script with the chosen voiceover.

Voice Selection

To access the voice selection pop-up in Augie, start by navigating to the Create Your Video screen. Here, you will find a SCRIPT text box where you can input or edit your script.

Below the SCRIPT text box, there are several options. Click on Choose your Voice to open the voice selection pop-up. This pop-up will allow you to browse and filter through a variety of voices to find the perfect match for your video script.

The voice selection pop-up features different tabs to help you filter the available voices. These tabs include: Favorites, Gender, Age, Accent, Tone, and Use Case. Each tab offers specific criteria to narrow down your voice choices, making it easier to find a suitable voice for your needs.

Choosing the right voice for your script is important. The voice you select can significantly impact how your audience perceives your video. A well-matched voice enhances engagement and helps convey your message more effectively.

Filtering by Gender

To filter voices by gender in Augie, follow these steps. First, navigate to the Change pop-up window where you select voices. There, click on the Gender tab.

You will see two options: Male and Female. Select the gender you prefer by clicking on the corresponding option.

To confirm your selection, click the Apply button at the bottom of the tab. If you want to remove all gender filters, click the Clear All button.

Filtering by Age

To filter voices by age in Augie, follow these steps. This feature allows you to select voices based on different age groups for your script.

From the Change pop-up window, select the Age tab. Here, you will find options to filter the voices into the following categories:

  • Child: Voices of young children.

  • Young: Voices of teenagers and young adults.

  • Middle-Aged: Voices of individuals in their middle years.

  • Old: Voices of elderly individuals.

Choose the age group that suits your script by clicking on one or more of the options. If you need to clear your selections, use the Clear All button. Once you have made your choices, click the Apply button to filter the voices according to the selected age groups.

Filtering by Accent

To filter voices by accent in Augie, navigate to the Choose Your Voice screen. Here, you will find several tabs for different filter options.

Select the Accent tab to see the various accent options available. These may include American, British, Australian, among others. Choose the accent that best suits your needs by clicking on it.

Once you've selected the desired accent(s), click the Apply button to filter the voices accordingly. If you want to remove all selected filters, you can use the Clear All button.

Filtering by Tone

To filter voices by tone in Augie, follow these steps to narrow down your options and select the best match for your video.

First, navigate to the Filter by Tone tab. Here, you will see various options such as Deep, Confident, and Casual. Each tone gives the voice a different character, which can help set the mood for your video. For instance, a Deep tone might add a sense of gravitas, while a Casual tone could make the narration sound more relaxed and conversational.

Once you have selected the tones you are interested in, you can use the Apply button to filter the available voices accordingly. If you wish to remove all the applied filters and start over, simply click the Clear All button. This will reset your selections, allowing you to explore other tone options or combinations.

Filtering by Use Case

To filter voices by use case in Augie, follow these instructions. The available options include Social Media, Narration, Advertisement, and more. Each option tailors the voice to fit specific content needs.

  • Social Media: Use this option for voices that are engaging and suitable for social media platforms.

  • Narration: Choose this for clear and steady voices ideal for narrating stories or informational content.

  • Advertisement: Select this for persuasive and dynamic voices designed for promotional videos.

  • Other Options: There may be additional use cases specific to different types of content. Explore these to find the best fit.

To apply a filter, go to the Use Case tab and select the desired option. Once you've made your selection, click the Apply button to filter the voices. To remove any applied filters, click the Clear All button.

Previewing and Finalizing

Previewing Your Script

To preview your script with the selected voice, follow these steps to ensure that everything sounds right before proceeding.

First, navigate to the Create Your Video screen, where you will see a progress bar with four steps: 1. Objective, 2. Edit & Voice, 3. Orientation, and 4. Review. Ensure that you are on step 2, Edit & Voice. Below the text box labeled SCRIPT, you will find a button labeled PREVIEW YOUR SCRIPT. Click this button to play back your script with the chosen voice.

During the playback, you will see a playback bar with controls for play/pause, time, and volume. Use these controls to manage the playback of your script. If everything sounds good, click the SOUNDS GOOD! button to confirm.

Reviewing the script carefully before finalizing is important to ensure that the voice matches the tone and content of your video. Take your time to listen to the playback and make any necessary adjustments.

Match the Voice to the Script

Make sure the chosen voice fits the tone and message of your script before you finalize it. This will enhance the overall impact of your video.

Finalizing the Voiceover

To finalize the voiceover for your script, follow these steps:

Once you have selected your preferred voice and made any necessary edits to the script, click the Save button located to the right of the text box. This will save your changes and apply the selected voice to your script.

After clicking Save, a confirmation prompt may appear to ensure that you want to finalize the voiceover. Confirm your decision to proceed.

After finalizing the voiceover, you will be taken to the next step in the video creation process. The current step will be highlighted in the progress bar at the top of the screen, guiding you through completing your video project.

From here, you can start editing your video in the studio. Once finished, you will have multiple download options, including Video Only and Audio Only.
