  1. From the Main Dashboard, click on 'Create a new video'.

  2. On the Video Creation Options page, select 'I have video' and click on 'Add picture in picture'.

  3. Click on the 'Click to Upload' button and choose your video file from your device.

  4. After the upload is complete, proceed to Clip Preview

  5. Use the 'Clip Preview' and 'Timeline Scroll' sections to refine your adjustments.

  6. Select the video orientation that suits your needs, and click 'Next'.

  7. Preview your media, make any last changes, and click 'Create' to finalize your video.

Open Video Creation Options

To add a picture-in-picture effect to your video in Augie, follow these steps starting from the main dashboard.

From the Main Dashboard, click on Create a new video. This will take you to the Video Creation Options page.

On the Video Creation Options page, you will see several sections to start your video project. Find and highlight the Add picture in picture button under the section labeled I have video.

Upload Media

Once you have chosen the picture-in-picture option, you will be prompted to upload your media files. Click the Click to Upload button to select files from your device. Ensure the file types are supported by Augie (e.g., mp3, wav, m4a, ogg, mp4, mov).

From the Main Dashboard, click on Create a new video. This will take you to the Video Creation Options page. Select I have video and click on the Add picture in picture button.

Edit Clips

For timing adjustments, use the Timeline section below the video player. This section allows you to specify when the picture-in-picture clip should appear and disappear within your video. Click and drag the ends of the overlay timeline to adjust its duration.

Select Orientation

In this step, you will choose the orientation for your video. The options include landscape, portrait, and square formats.

Select the orientation that best suits your project needs. Once you have made your selection, click on Next to proceed.

Review and Create

After uploading your media and making initial edits, you will move to the Review and Create section. Here, you can review your media and make any last adjustments to ensure everything is as desired.

Once you are satisfied with the preview, click the Create button to finalize your video. This will begin the video generation process.

Confirm that all elements are correctly placed and that the final output meets your requirements before completing the process.

You will return to the Augie dashboard where your video is being created.
